Managing Director
Since his early days of practice, Nichol has been involved in high-profile and complex cases. Recognised in Benchmark Litigation 2025 as a Future Star, one of LexisNexis® 40 UNDER 40 2023, ALB Asia 40 Under 40 2024, a Notable Practitioner in the AsiaLaw Rankings and described as “sharp and attentive” (Legal 500, 2018 ed), Nichol is regularly briefed by clients and counsel to take on trials and argue urgent and critical applications. Nichol has also carved a niche in managing crises and special projects, working with both local and foreign counsel.
Nichol has built a loyal following of clients with his forthright and pragmatic advice. He is regularly involved in shareholder disputes, complex company disputes, and high-value trust disputes.
Director
Bi Qi is equally comfortable in both the role of lead counsel and assisting counsel. Together with her team, Bi Qi appears regularly in the High Court and the State Courts. She is comfortable with trial work and highly contested applications as lead counsel and has amassed a substantial number of reported judgments in the High Court touching on trusts law, insolvency law and company law.
In addition to her oral advocacy, Bi Qi’s polished written advocacy consistently produces persuasive written arguments for the Court and mediation chambers.
Counsel
Clement is a litigator having represented clients at all levels of the Singapore judicial system and in arbitrations. He is sought-after for his experience in white collar crime, employment disputes, minority oppression cases, contractual disputes, defamation claims and construction cases.
Previously, Clement enjoyed stints as a District Judge in the State Courts and Subordinate Military Courts. He is also a contributing editor to major Singapore texts on civil procedure and defamation.
Counsel, Head of Family Law
Diana has 22 years of experience in court and mediation under her belt. Known for her holistic approach to Family Law, she works closely with her clients to achieve outcomes that are sustainable as co-parents and in their best interests.
In addition to her Family Law expertise, Diana also has a broad background in the area of general civil and commercial litigation, landlord and tenancy disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, defamation suits, motor vehicle damage, and personal injury claims involving insurers.
Diana is also a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public.
Counsel
Kaysha is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in complex legal matters across the Family Courts, State Courts, and High Court. She has successfully handled contentious and non-contentious matrimonial matters, probate and administration, adoptions, and cases under the Mental Capacity Act 2008.
Kaysha represented a wide spectrum of clients, from vulnerable individuals to high-net-worth families and business owners, tailoring her approach to meet their unique legal needs. Known for her pragmatic and solution-driven approach, Kaysha is committed to delivering cost-effective legal strategies.
Counsel
Nicholas is experienced in civil disputes, involving employment, insolvency, defamation, and property law. He regularly takes on complex matrimonial disputes and urgent applications against harassment actions. Nicholas is also briefed on criminal and regulatory defence work.
Nicholas is apt in both oral and written advocacy and consistently delivers incisive arguments in Court. Nicholas also takes on advisory work for MNCs, SMEs and listed companies.
Associate
Andrew is a tenacious litigator who strives to always achieve the best results for the firm’s clients. He is experienced over a wide spectrum of matters, across all levels of the Singapore Courts. He regularly advises and represents SMEs, investment companies and funds, non-profit organisations.

Associate
Chee Eng is experienced in advising and undertaking complex transactional work. He frequently advises on acquisitions, joint ventures, as well as regulatory and compliance issues. Chee Eng is fluent in Chinese and he handles a substantial portfolio of the firm’s Chinese clients on investments in Singapore.
As an SMC Accredited Mediator, Chee Eng takes an interest-based, collaborative approach in resolving conflicts.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Chee Eng has had more than 10 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors, including in the legal department of a top US consulting firm.

Successfully acted for a group of minority shareholders to convene an EGM of a Catalist ListCo under section 177 of the Companies Act. Worked alongside counsel for other groups of shareholders in resisting an application for an injunction to restrain the convening of the EGM and allegations of deficiencies in the convening of the intended EGM whilst dealing with restrictions of SGX-imposed Notices of Compliances. Ultimately convened the intended EGM to pass resolutions to remove and appoint directors for control over the ListCo.
Took on instructions on an urgent basis and at short notice to represent the estate of a deceased, in resisting claims of resulting and common intention constructive trusts. Successfully defended all claims for significant stakes in a high-value commercial property purchased by the deceased, to deny the claimants any beneficial interest in the property.
Represented a Mainboard ListCo in defending claims brought by one of its ex-executive directors. Successfully raised and argued a novel point of law, on the operation of section 168 of the Companies Act barring ‘golden parachute’ payments. This led to the removal and reduction of a substantial quantum of the plaintiff’s claim.
Successfully obtained a worldwide Mareva injunction against a defendant who obtained gifts and transfers of more than S$ 8 million, to freeze assets in Singapore and Malaysia. Worked with instructed counsel and professional experts at trial, on questions of resulting and constructive trusts, mental capacity, and authenticity of signatures.
Represented a Catalist ListCo involved in litigation in multiple jurisdictions involving (amongst others) conspiracy claims. Successfully applied for and obtained an anti-suit injunction in Singapore. This led to the discontinuance of the Singapore litigation and a positive award of costs.
Represented the estate of a deceased mother in high-value litigation involving claims founded on express trust, resulting trust and common intention constructive trust, to seek an account of the deceased’s assets from the deceased’s children, and to recover these assets for the estate.
